Interview with Mr. Bruno Sagarbi, General Manager of the Italian Company Ocean

The International fair  of the Khartoum  , in its 35th  edition was marked by a huge expansion of foreign and international participation. The increasing number of participating companies in the exhibition was attributed to the changes that took place in lifting the US economic embargo since October last year.

The General Manager  of the Italian Ocean Company Mr. Bruno Sagarbi said that their participation in the exhibition to display electrical products and household appliances to meet  Sudan markets’ needs with emphasis that the tools and their prices are  suitable and appropriate  for the Sudanese climate .Their participation in the exhibition of Khartoum came after 32 years ago and refers to the progress that has occurred in the commercial sector despite the challenges and problems that are facing Sudan.

In the same context, Mr. Osama Bakheet, Duty Free Shops manager, confirmed the  increase in the number of companies participating in  this year, including the Italian company Ocean, which is participating in the 35th Edition. Mr. Osama outlined further that  Ocean is  offering its electrical products (refrigerators, washing machines, mixers and  household appliances).

 Mrs. Claudia Fiori, The production manager of Ocean  said her company is  offering a new model of kitchenware  for the first time according to market demand. She stated that all the required types were introduced and confirmed the company’s commitment to provide high quality products and specifications. Ahmed Al Shaga, an agent of U.AE company and owner of AlShamag Trading company with brands of sweets, chocolates and perfumes in the Middle East, said that the industrial products are available according to demand, pointing out that there is a demand for these products that are sold directly to the customers at reasonable prices. Quality and product specifications, encouraging them to continue their participation in the exhibition He concluded that his products penetrated the Sudanese market through the Sudanese Duty Free Shops.
